AshramVidyaOrder was founded by Raphael as a channel for the Primordial Tradition. In the pages that follow you will find various aspects of the Tradition in the form of text and dialogue, and of biographical notes about some of Its great Masters.
Primordial Tradition is one and trascendent and has manifested in several forms and names - Pythagoras, Parmenides, Plato, Plotinus, Lao-tse, Gaudapada, Shankara and others. Raphael manifests the Primordial Tradition not as a particular teaching but as Unity of Tradition.
AshramVidyaOrder was organized in Italy. Since 1998 it has beeng operating also in the US. In Italy it operates as a Center, a Hermitage and a Publishing house. In the US, through a non for profit Foundation and a Publishing House.
What is Primordial Tradition?...
...Far from meaning primitive..., It is Philosophia Perennis, Traditional Spiritual Knowledge, That which does not assert Itself nor separates out the various forms of existence. It is the offspring of Enlightenment. It is Identity of Consciousness with the Ultimate Reality. As Shankara stated: It is Advaita (One-without-a-second).
